Jasmine is a longtime Colorado Springs resident, originally from Astoria, NYC, who has a lifelong love for animals, providing companionship to her current cat, Skittles, and enjoying many happy years with her previous cat, Cindy, and dog, Nifty.

Alicia is a Colorado native and Certified Veterinary Assistant (Pikes Peak State College) who joined Westside Animal Hospital in 2024, has a lifelong passion for animals (including her cat, two dogs, and five birds), and enjoys outdoor adventures, gaming, and crafts.

Megan is a rewarding Veterinary Technician and receptionist since 2002 who moved from Los Angeles to Colorado Springs in 2007, and, despite holding a B.A. in Graphic Design, shares her passion for animals and the Colorado mountains with her husband, three rescue dogs (Winnie, Emma, and Ivy), and four rescue cats (Coda, Kinsey, Sawyer, and Quinn).

Taylor, a pet portrait artist who moved from Austin to Colorado Springs in 2017, joined Westside Animal Hospital in September 2021, and shares a love for cooking with her husband, Antonio, and a deep affection for all animals, especially cats (like her two beloved feline companions, Salem and Minerva).

Emily is a Colorado native who started at Westside Animal Hospital in 2023, returning to her lifelong passion for animals after working as a kennel technician and in communications, and currently enjoys spending time with her husband Eric, riding her horse Jack, reading, creating art, and caring for her Beagle mix Spencer and three cats (Batman, Turtle, and Ladybug).

Nathalia, who moved from Chicago to Colorado Springs in 2015, is a dedicated Client Service Coordinator who rejoined the Westside team in 2023, driven by a lifelong passion for animal welfare that stems from her childhood in Puerto Rico, and spends her free time camping and exploring Colorado with her husband Mathew, two children (Luna and Sonny), four dogs, three cats, and a bearded dragon.

Dr. Jesse Hand, a Colorado native and CSU graduate, has a special interest in veterinary ophthalmology. Outside the clinic, he enjoys restoring vintage toys, classic VWs, and time with his Great Pyrenees mix.

Dr. Dye joined Westside Animal Hospital in 2006 after earning his veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University. He enjoys family time with his wife, two sons, and their beloved pets.

Dr. Tenleigh Ellis, a recent University of Missouri graduate, has special interests in preventive medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside work, she enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, and time with her cat, Kronk.
